Footpatrol’s collaboration with native Italian sportswear brand, Diadora, was a project that BREAKS pieced together from brand film to lookbook, retail installation to rollout. The project’s focus was a set of Diadora styles and it was Footpatrol’s want to focus on the Macchiatto, the small but mighty Italian coffee that literally translates to ‘The Stain’.
Culminating in a four minute film, we wanted to focus on the people behind the product. The working men and women, such as Diadora employee Ornella who had spent up to 40 years producing Diadora’s ‘Made in Italy’ product, as well as the cafe owners that provide fuel for the region. The film was incredibly well received and was supported by a lookbook that showcased both footwear styles as well as F&F tracksuit.
The final element of the campaign saw us bring Italy back to Soho, as we built a fully functional coffee bar in Footpatrol’s Berwick St store. The coffee bar served a variety of coffee to customers and passers-by throughout the collection’s opening weekend.
