Footpatrol x Karhu

Fusion 2.0

Finish sneaker brand Karhu and Footpatrol joined forces to create an outdoors inspired version of their Fusion 2.0.

Looking to tease the collaboration as effectively as possible, as well as offering the customer an immersive install that complimented the collaboration’s origins we set out to create a series of assets that truly grabbed the audience’s attention.

Firstly, teasing the product, we focused on utilizing Instagram video and conceptualized a 16-second time-lapse video that illustrated a tree stump rising from a pile of sawdust. We successfully created a set that  shared the same playful nature as the completed video, a set made up of camping tarp, hiking rope and plenty of wood, in all shapes and sizes.

The second part of the project was centered around bringing the forest to the Footpatrol store. We re-constructed two full-size trees, alongside a stump that doubled up as a plinth to showcase the product. Placing a large scale vinyl against the back wall, including both brand’s branding, we kept the window vinyl simple, allowing passers-by to view the interior display effectively.
